Joseph J. Koogler, age 77 of Huber Heights, passed away July 10, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 9, 1935 in Dayton to the late Paul and Goldie Koogler. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his son, Joseph P. Koogler.
Joe is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Joan Koogler; children: Dean F. (Nancy) Koogler, Dale L. (Marilyn) Koogler, Douglas E. Koogler and Deanna J. (Mike Smith) Russell; daughter-in-law, Carmen Salas; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; extended son, Allen Poe.
Joe's greatest joy in life was to take his wife fishing.
Per his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe's memory to The Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
