Joseph "Jody" Owens, age 54, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Joe was born in Dayton on September 26, 1969 to the late Tom Owens & Lillian Jewell Hatfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Susan Dawson, Tommy Owens, Vickie Hunter and Johnny Owens.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Autumn Breeze-Owens; daughter, Desiray (Trent) Thomas; son, Devyn (Brooklynn) Kaylor-Owens; grandchildren, Oaklynn Kaylor-Owens, Barrett Kaylor-Owens, Wren Kaylor-Owens and Beckett Kaylor-Owens; siblings, Donna Smith, Jimmy Owens, Candace Shoup, Mark Owens, Michelle Kennedy and Kathy Johnston; and many other relatives and friends.
Joe will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 1-3pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 3pm.
