Joseph Theodore Herbert

Joseph Theodore Herbert, age 76 of Xenia, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 15, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Charles and Helen Herbert.
Joseph was a loving father, brother and grandfather who will be dearly missed. He worked as a machinist for most of his life. After his college years, he raced motocross and loved motorcycles. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and fishing. Most importantly, he loved Jesus.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Herbert.
Joseph is survived by his two daughters, Rachel (Christopher) Gulden and Rebecca Swank; son, Matthew Herbert; grandchildren, Jacob, Jarrett, Justin, Cole, Tyler, Joshua, Shelley, Klei and Aela and siblings, James, Mary Lou, Kenneth and Barbara.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
