GALYON, Joseph "Joey", age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at his home in Dana Point, California, his residence of 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Eileen Galyon.

Joe is survived by his step-mother, Mary Galyon of WV; siblings, Chuck (Patty) Galyon of Dayton, Theresa (Steve) Brown of Xenia, Donnie and Ronnie Galyon of Beavercreek, Marty (Tom) Creel of Kettering, Ken (Tammy) Galyon of West Chester, Katie (Terry) Galyon-Johnson of Springboro, Jimmy (Mary) Galyon of Beavercreek, Cindy (Chuck) Elkins of WV, adopted brother, David Galyon of WV as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and his kitties.

He was employed in the banking industry throughout his professional career. Joe was an avid Dodgers fan, loved his music and to play poker. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 27 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432). Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service.
