Joseph L. Doffermyer

Joseph L. Doffermyer, age 61 of Fairborn, OH passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. He was born June 4, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to Richard and Carol (Percich) Doffermyer.
Joe worked in construction for many years with his close friend Henry. He was an avid fisherman and loved sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds, UD Flyers, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Joe loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Joe is survived by his daughters, Amy (Allen) Hubbard, Misty Perry and Christy Doffermyer; eight grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; four sisters, Anita (Paul Stoermer) Thies, Linda Morgan, Teresa Couch and Angela Perry; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Smith; a brother in law, Lynny Morgan.
Memorial Contributions in Joe's name can be made to the American Kidney Fund.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, January 28th, 2022, from 5-7pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Dayton, OH 45432. A Celebration of Joe's Life will follow the gathering at the funeral home.
