Balog, Joseph Alfred, age 56 of Kettering passed away unexpectedly December 16, 2018 at his home.
Joseph was a graduate of Fairmont West High School. He worked as a self-employed tile layer in the Dayton area.
Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Marjean Balog Randall and brother, John Balog.
He is survived by his mother, Marie (Hansel) Lai; nieces Jennifer (Mark) Steller and Sara Balog (JJ); nephew John F. Balog; sister-in-law Sondra Balog; as well as other family and many friends.
Family will greet friends from 2-4:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 followed by a memorial service at 4:00 pm. All events will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's name to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
