PRESSEL, Joseph B., age 55, of Beavercreek, 'slipped the surly bonds' Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at his home. He was born February 21, 1951 in Dayton, OH. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Becky (Moyer) Pressel; daughter, Kate Pressel and son-in-law Jason Cartmell; mother, Stella Pressel; sister, Teresa Pressel; brothers and their wives, Michael and Teresa Pressel, Jerry and Samantha Pressel, Robert and Diane Pressel; 11 nieces and 8 nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Pressel. Joe was a long time employee of SRA International Inc. as a Systems Programmer. He was a 22-year bagpiper with the St. Andrew's Pipes and Drums of Dayton, a member of the WPAFB Aero Club where he was an avid aviator. As a true renaissance man, Joe had a passion for space, technology, aviation, music, puzzles, computerized Christmas lights, history, mushroom hunting, euchre, and his family. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 19, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
