Joseph B. Meyer

MEYER, Joseph B. "Walkin Joe", age 69, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009. He was born April 13, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by both parents, Bernard and Alberta (Kronenberger) Meyer and brother, John Meyer. He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth (Jerome) Byerly of Beavercreek and brother William (Macqueline) Meyer of Lebanon; nieces and nephews, Christopher Meyer, Joan Ooten, Jennifer Grusenmeyer, Gregory Byerly, David Byerly, and Michael Byerly; and numerous friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, January 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Cristopher Coleman Celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
