Joseph A. Grasso, age 91, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignatius & Julia Grasso; and sister, Lena Cole.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Penny Grasso, son, Joseph Grasso & his wife Amy; and their children, Nathan, Sophia, and Zachary; son, John Grasso & his wife Kristie (Hunley) Grasso, and their children, Steven & his wife Amy, Julian & his fiance Emily Mitolo, Alex, Cassandra, and Kayleigh; brother, Pete Grasso & his wife Maggie, and their children, Joe Grasso, Pete Grasso Jr., Anne Wilson, Nick Grasso; brother-in-law, Howard Cole; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 4, 2010 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:00am at St. Henry Catholic Church (6696 Springboro Road Dayton, OH 45449). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420) in Joseph's memory.
