Jordan Matthew Stone (Jstone)

July 10, 2000 — January 21, 2025

Riverside, OH

Jordan Matthew Stone, known to his friends as Jstone—because why not add a touch of mystery to a short life—was born on July 10, 2000, in the bustling metropolis of Dayton, OH. He eventually shuffled off this mortal coil on January 21, 2025, also in Dayton, because apparently, he just couldn’t get enough of the place.

Now, Jordan had quite the career, one that involved "loving" his job at the City of Dayton. It’s always delightful to hear about someone who genuinely enjoys their job—such rare enthusiasm! He relished every embarrassing moment he spent building relationships there, undoubtedly creating deeply cherished connections.

He graduated from Walter E. Stebbins High School, which sounds impressive if you’re into the whole education thing. After all, nothing screams success quite like surviving high school, right? Known for his goofy, stubborn, and outgoing personality—a trifecta that's sure to both endear him to and annoy everyone around him—Jordan had the kind of charm that could brighten a room or, at the very least, make people roll their eyes.

Jordan leaves behind a veritable horde of family and friends, all of whom shared the joy of his company until death intervened—how rude! He is survived by his ever-supportive parents, Karen and William Stone, who can now bask in the glory of their son’s impeccable relationships with his myriad acquaintances. He also leaves behind his wife, Samantha Fox, and his son, Blake Stone, because what’s a young life without a kid to carry on that goofy legacy?

His brothers, William (Heather) Stone Jr. and Stephen Stone-Parsons, will surely miss him in the grand sibling rivalry—although one can only assume they might take this as an opportunity to finally come out on top! Shout-out to the in-laws too: Richard (Renee) Fox and brother-in-law Andrew (Kaitlyn) Fox, who now bear the burden of filling that extra seat at family gatherings.

As for the dearly departed, Jordan's nanny, Linda Stone, and his grandma, Fannie Gillespie, are presumably thrilled to welcome him back into the fold, ready to offer him a fresh dose of…..

For anyone weighted down by sadness—and why would you be?—there will be a touching visitation on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424 before they launch straight into the funeral service at 1:00 PM. This will also be held at the same location because, you guessed it, no one loves changing venues during times of deep sorrow.

So, raise a glass, share a laugh, and remember Jstone’s goofy antics as he takes his final bow. After all, life is much too serious, and what could be better than a party in his honor?
