Jordan Lee Stephens age 26, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012. He was born in Dayton on May 5, 1986. He was preceded in death by his brother David Stephens.
Jordan is survived by his father John Stephens; mother Jacqueline (Flor) Rutherford; step-mother Connie Stephens; sister Katelyn Stephens; step-brother Chris Willis; step-sister Brittany Willis; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Jordan's time on this earth was filled with struggles and limitations; but he seldom complained and always approached life with a smile and a positive attitude. He inspired and touched more people in his short life than most men will ever do in a full lifetime. His smile, sense of humor, strength, and courage will be missed by many.
"It's not how long you are on this earth, but what you do with that time."
Family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton Ohio, on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jordan's name to CHAMP Camp of Indianapolis (www.champcamp.org) or The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (www.phassociation.org).
