Joni L. Westray

Westray, Joni L., age 61 of West Carrollton, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 with her husband by her side.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 16th, 1961, daughter of the late Barbara Jean Milton and Elwood Larry Puterbaugh.

Joni graduated from Springboro High School, class of 1980. She worked at Berry Company and eventually at Goddard School taking care of babies.

Joni is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Edward (Valerie) Sumpter; daughter, Tori (Jerry) Watson; daughter, Rebecca (Alex) Koons; daughter, Amanda (Kevin) French; son, John (Espi) Westray; brother, Larry (Michele) Puterbaugh; sister-in-law, Kim (Bob) Key; brother, Donald; best friend, Sinda
and 12 grandchildren that she loved very much.

A Celebration of Joni's Life will take place from 12 PM to 2 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering.

Joni loved tiedye and those attending services are encouraged to wear their tiedye colors in her honor.
