Jonathon D. Roalef, age 26 of Kettering, passed away August 29, 2015. He was born January 28, 1989 in Dayton to Dave and Meg Roalef.
Jon was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Nancy Farren and Margaret Roalef; grandfather, Robert Roalef; and aunt, Amy Karl.
In addition to his parents, Jon is survived by sisters: Abbey and Maggie; brother, Jacob; grandfather, Joe Farren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jon graduated from Fairmont High School, Class of 2007, where he played basketball for four years. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2012. He was a member of Greenmont Oak Park Community Church and recently joined St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Jon was a current employee at Smart Data Systems. He enjoyed family vacations at the beach. He loved music, especially playing his guitar. Jon had a heart to those in need, both people and animals. He is so loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Greenmont Oak Park Community Church, 1921 Woodman Drive, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
