Jon J. Andel, age 66 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 21, 1947 to the late, John and Carole Andel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Colleen Andel; children, Jon C. (Jennifer) Andel, Jenni (Bill Fox) Andel Snowden, Renee (Pete) Myers, Monica (Scott Huffman) Slemmer, David Paul Andel and Nate (Kelly) Robertson; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janet (Rick) Roth, Tom (Mary) Andel, Mark (Cynthia) Andel, Chris (Tracy) Andel and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Jon was an avid Cleveland Browns and "The" Ohio State Buckeye fan. He enjoyed golfing, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
At Jon's request, please wear your favorite sports attire.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
