Jon A. Kelly, age 68, of Kettering, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David & Mary Kelly; brother, David; sisters, Audrey, Dorothy, Billie Ann and Yvonne.
Jon is survived by his adoring wife of 3 years, Toni Kelly; daughters, Debi Roy, and Sharon Cross; grandchild, Jason Roy; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Cordellia Roy; sister, Jackie Caudill; brothers, Robert and Jimmy (Mary Jo) Kelly; many nieces and nephews including, Rosemary Adkins, Carolyn Leahy, Marc Kelly; special friend, David Brown; and many other relatives and friends.
Jon was a well respected social worker and advocate in the Adult Protective Services at the Job Center. He will be sorely missed by those he served.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 9-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at David's Cemetery. Donations may be made in Jon's memory to The Greater Dayton Clubhouse Inc. (30 Wyoming St, Dayton, OH 45409).
