Johnny Ray Stump AKA "Old Bones" went to be with the lord in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones on March 23, 2024. Johnny was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on June 10, 1953, to the late Rayburn and Emma Stump. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela Stump; a total of four children, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three of his siblings.
Johnny was the middle child of seven and grew up on a farm working with his father who taught him everything he knew and inspired his love for tractors. Johnny worked as a commercial roofer for 13 years. Due to a work-related injury, his career as a roofer ended, and he took on a new role as a stay-at-home father. In his free time, he enjoyed restoring tractors completing a total of 36. His second passion was his love for his grandchildren. Johnny was a mentor to many and was always willing to share his knowledge if you were one of his favorites. Through years of pain, he remained a dedicated father, grandfather, and husband. The man had absolutely no quit in him.
Visitation will be held from 2pm-3pm on Saturday March 30, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral home. 3380 Dayton-Xenia rd. Beavercreek, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 3pm.
