Johnny Price

Johnny Price, age 80 of Fairborn, passed away July 6, 2019. He was born January 3, 1939 in Lawrence, TN to the late Kermit and Irene Price. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law: Maxine and Bud Sutherland; great-granddaughters: Phoenix and Willow Rhyne; and beloved dog, Chief.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Gabriele Price; children: Jacqueline Price (Joey Hargett), Carla Hegyi (Justin Adkins) and Alex Hegyi; 3 grandchildren: Karissa (Megan) Rhyne, Hana White and Mishaela White; great-grandson, Damian Jude Rhyne; and twin sister, Carol Lantern (Arch); nieces, nephews, other relatives, dear friends and faithful companion, Odie.

Johnny was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring after 31 years of service. He was an avid bowler. He loved music and volunteered his time singing and playing his guitar at area nursing homes.

Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial and military honors will follow at 2:30 pm at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Johnny's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
