Age 71, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents George & Arizona Cooper, and brothers, Wendell & Kenneth Cooper. Johnny is survived by his brother, George "Jr": sister, Emma Crosthwaite; Companion of 25 years, Mary Peterson; 8 children, Cynthia Haines (James), Little John Cooper, Rebecca Bowen (Chris), Tonya Cooper (Tom), Laura Henson, Johnda Blankenship (Everett "Jr"), Jennifer Cooper, and Shauna Peterson (Jason); and their mothers, Jackie Cooper & Patricia Haddix; 11 grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews & friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to Adonna Frieszell for all of her help during this very difficult time. Visitation Thursday, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
