Johnnie Mae Davis, age 86 of Dayton, passed away December 16, 2015. She was born March 25, 1929 in Miami, FL. She retired from Miami Valley Hospital in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Davis, Sr.; 6 wonderful children: Anthony Davis, Reginald Davis, Edgar Davis, Jr., Ralph Davis, Cornell Davis and Veronica Fisher; and 1 grandson, Ralph Singleton.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Audrey Pierce; son, Keith Davis; grandchildren: De'Andre Pierce, Andrea Pierce, Andre Pierce, Angie Pierce, Antonio Pierce, April Pierce, Cornell Davis, Jr., Angela Brantley (Edward), Anthony Davis (Damika), Darrell Mattison (Pearl) and Charity Martin all of Dayton, Ohio; Candice Sealey of Columbus, Ohio; Delorin and Jackie Davis, D'Laquan Reddick of Dayton, Demetrius Morris; sisters: Trudi and Beauty of Tampa, Florida and a host of other family and friends, including Miss Helen Owensby and Miss Sylvia.
Visitation will begin at 10 am on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, followed by the funeral service at 11 am.
