Johnie L. Whitley

Johnie L. Whitley, 62, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. He was born April 3, 1952 in Xenia, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Franklin and Anna Francis Whitley and children, James and Alice Whitley. Johnie is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Benjamin D. Whitley and Daniel D. Whitley and grandson, Daniel J. Whitley. He served our country in the United States Air Force. Johnie retired from Fairborn City Schools after 30 years of service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2014 at Byron Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
