John J. Yoder, age 66 of Centerville, passed away October 24, 2019. He was born on February 12, 1953 in Flint, MI to the late Mervin and Anne Yoder. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Yoder.
He is survived by his children, Angela Wilde, Timothy (Amanda) Yoder and Michael (Alana) Yoder and their mother, Cheryl Yoder; grandchildren, Jessica (John) Alexander, Melanie Dae, Kailey Wilde, Logan Wilde, Ian Yoder and Noah Yoder; great-grandchildren, Cooper Alexander and Claire Alexander; siblings, Roger Yoder, Jeanne Trudeau and Janet Currie; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
John retired as a SMSGT in Security Forces from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service to his country. After serving, he went on to work in assembly for Delphi and also continued his security career with multiple other businesses in civil service.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 1-2 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a memorial service including military honors will begin at 2 PM.
