John William Shoup
Age 85, of Waynesville, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Shoup in 2002; his grandson, Gerald Freeman, Jr.; and by two brothers, Milo & Tom Shoup.
John is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley & Jim Van Dyke; one granddaughter, Annie Van Dyke; and by two great grandchildren, Christopher & Elizabeth Freeman.
John served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He was a member of the Waynesville Masonic Lodge and retired from N.C.R. with over 40 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Procession will leave the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. for graveside services to be held at 2:45 p.m. at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
