John Michael Werkowitz, "Werkie", age 80, of Kettering, passed away January 22, 2021.
He was born January 29, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John Gabriel and Clarissa Priscilla (Syler) Werkowitz. In his younger years John played football at Beavercreek High School, Class of 1959. He loved camping, boating and fishing. John had a long career as a Tool and Die and finished his working career at Jena Tool.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Michele Ann (Pepper) Werkowitz, one son, Donald Lee Robinson, sister, Marilyn Arnold, and one grandson, Chad James Wuebben.
John is survived by his children, John and Tammie Robinson, Misty and Tom McCutcheon, Derek and Jessica Werkowitz; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Carla Myers; and brother, Eric Werkowitz.
John will always be remembered for being a hard worker, his sense of humor and his stories.
