John W. Hulick

John W. Hulick, age 65, of Oakwood, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008. He was born on April 20, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio to the late David and Jean Hulick. John was a ham radio operator (K8KSY) for 52 years. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a master's degree in Business Management in 1967. He was an avid photographer, collector, music lover and founded MicroTyme Computer Store in Kettering. John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn; daughters Lisa Hulick and Kristen Hulick; grandchildren Alli, John, Bradly, Mackenzie, Jayce; brother David (Mary) Hulick; numerous friends; and Buster the Cat. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 4-6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd.). A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either The Lymphoma Society or Bethany Village.
