BRUNNER, John W.
Age 78, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2015. He was born September 14, 1936 in Dayton, OH to the late, William and Jeanette Brunner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gwendolyn Brunner; children, Bill Brunner (Kim Gustafson) of Convoy, OH and Theresa (Gary) Phillips of Brookville, OH; grandchildren, John and Austin Brunner and Whitney and Grant Phillips; great-grandsons, Gavin and Coltyn Brunner; and dear friend, Don (Carol) Berry.
John was a graduate of Chaminade High School, class of 1955 and retired from General Motors in 1992. He is a retired member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and a retired member of the Knights of Columbus. John was a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Huber Heights.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Hospice of Dayton for their care and support.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
