John M. Tirpack

On Tuesday, November 24, 2020, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, John "JT" Tirpack passed peacefully into God's arms.
John was born on August 30, 1937 in Zavadka, Czechoslovakia to the late John and Ann Tirpack. He also lived in Bulgaria, Sweden, and Germany before moving to America at the age of 13. John attended Ohio University, where he played soccer and he met his future wife. Upon graduation, he accepted an aerospace engineering position at Wright Patterson Air Force Base retiring after 37 years.
In 1960, John married his college sweetheart, Ann Jeanette Domanski. Ann and John recently celebrated their 60-year wedding anniversary.
His humor, generosity, and quiet disposition were his gifts to us. JT shared his time, knowledge and skills with everyone including Saint Vincent de Paul. For many years, he coached soccer at St. Luke's School and he was the first girls' soccer coach for Beavercreek High School.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children Theresa Dorn, Karen (Stephen) Angelis and Kyle (Emily) Tirpack; ten grandchildren; C.J., Matthew and Benjamin (Bethany) Dorn, Gabriella, Ariana and Natalia Angelis, and Lacey and Scarlett Richmond, Jillian Tirpack and Taylor Koepfer; a brother, Boris (Retha) Tirpack; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Nadine Kramer.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Luke Church, 1440 N Fairfield Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432, the family will gather a half hour prior to Mass from 9:30 to 10:00 am.

A celebration of John's life will be held in the summer of 2021.
