John Edward Stritenberger, age 88, of Dayton, passed away on January 14, 2023. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 24, 1934, the son of the late John and Eva Stritenberger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, William Stritenberger and Robert Stritenberger.
John is survived by his wife, Olive "Margie" Pulliam; children, Deberah (William) Yahle, Robin (Richard) Stritenberger, Sally Ann (Mark) Card, John Charles Stritenberger and Jason James (Heather) Stritenberger; grandchildren, John, Jill (Paul), Aimee (Donnie), Joshua (Kelly), Julie (Chris), Levi (Brittany), Terah (Kirk), Avery, Hunter and Greta; many great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Nealon, Becky (Wayne) Moore, David (Cindy) Stritenberger; sister-in-law, Pat Stritenberger; special friends, Barbara Witt and Bob Eisenhower; and many other loving family and friends.
John retired twice from Universal Tool and AFC Tool Company Inc., where he was in various Sales positions. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and was a huge Cincinnati Bengals & Reds fan. John had a very strong work ethic throughout his life. His family was something he held very dear. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
