John Edward Strachan I, age 41, was called up to heaven. (12 Oct 1972 – 22 Sept 2014).
He is survived by his three children; John Edward II (20), Caleb Matthew (18), and Felicity Dawn (14). Also survived by his parents, Cliff Strachan and Dawn Dagy.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Shane Michael in 2005.
John grew up in northern California and graduated from Eureka H.S. He then joined the military for eight years and fought in Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait. He became disabled as a result of his service and will be receiving full military honors.
Graveside service is Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 2pm at the Dayton National VA Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
