John P. Sticka

John P. Sticka, age 69, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Atrium Health Hospital in Middletown, Ohio. He was born on October 10, 1953, in London, Ohio. John graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in Cedarville, Ohio, Class of 1973. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, which he proudly served in for 20 years. He was at McGuire AFB, in New Jersey, Mildenhall England United Kingdom, Columbus AFB, in Mississippi and KI Sawyer AFB, in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan.

He loved snow mobiling, cross country skiing, motorcycles, working on cars & old cars, fishing, hunting, boating and having his giant glass of tea.

Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia Sticka; two sons, Ronald (Jill) Sticka and Robert (Brandy) Sticka; five grandchildren, Devan (Miguel) Bohrer, Braiden Sticka, Ronald Sticka, Jr., Elaina Sticka and Nathan Sticka; sister, Deb (Jerry) Liming of Ohio; brothers-in-law, Don (Sandy) Long of Michigan, Ron Long of Pennsylvania and Davy (Talitha) Long of Ohio; sister-in-law, Deb (Bruce) Norris of Ohio; many loving nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Dee (Troy) Collins and brother-in-law, Dennis Hassler both of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Mary Sticka; and his brother, Scott.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm, on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Tony Garren officiating. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Cedarville, Ohio.
