Stewart, John, age 77 of Xenia, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born December 10, 1929 in Redding, CA, the son of James Albert & Jessie Ruth (Ingraham) Stewart. John served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was an Electrical Engineer, the Vice President for SRL for many years, and the President of Qual Quan Inc. He has been a member of Peace Lutheran Church since 1960. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Phyllis Stewart; sisters, Mary Jones of Sacramento, CA & Donna Palmiter of Sun City, AZ; children, Lowell Stewart of Poway, CA, Karen Stewart of Xenia, OH, Mary Williamson of Lebanon, OH, & Lynette Boldt of Germantown, OH; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Lindsay, & Ellena Stewart, Johnathan & Rebecca Boldt. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 PM until the time of services.
