John Matthew Sopiwnik

John Matthew Sopiwnik, age 74 of Hamilton, Ohio formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was born June 5, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Peter and Genrose Sopiwnik.
John is survived by his son, John Nicholas Sopiwnik; sister, Carol (Randy) Kneer; brother, Mark Sopiwnik; along with many extended family and friends.
He was a proud US Marine veteran where he served during the Vietnam War. John retired from General Electric after many dedicated years.
John will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
