John Jarvis Siler, age 69, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017.
John was born on November 20, 1947 in Jellico, TN to the late John & Nannie Siler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn L. Siler; sister, Zora Siler Perkins; brother, Lowell S. Siler and sister-in-law, Janice K. Siler.
John is survived by his children, John P. Siler, Karen M. Siler, Jennifer L. Ritchie, Elizabeth S. Walterman and Amy A. Siler; grandchildren, Chassidy, Ashley, Nikkie, Cassandra and Natalie; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 6-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).The service will follow at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association (http://www.lung.org/) or the Dayton V.A. (http://www.dayton.va.gov/) in John's memory.
