John Robert Short

Short, John Robert, age 65, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born on April 5, 1948 to the late John & Willie (Bennett) Short in Colorado Springs, CO.
John is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Eva J. (Berry) Short; his children Jesse (& Heather) Short, and Lisa (Kevin) Rex; and grandchildren: Kaylah and Justin; and brothers Donald and Leonard Short.
He loved to work on cars, and go to the races. He enjoyed being active, and loved fishing. He never met a stranger, and was extremely helpful to anyone who needed him.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6-8:00 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH.
Funeral service to be held at 1 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2013 also at the funeral home. Pastor Andrew Warren officiating.
Burial at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
