John Robert "Bob" Ritter

RITTER, John "Bob", 73, of Vandalia passed away Monday, February 3, 2020.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years Dorothea Ritter in 2019, and his parents Robert and Orletta Ritter.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tim Ritter, Lisa Ritter and Tony Ritter. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, his brother Craig (Pat) Ritter, 2 sister's, Sally (Dave) Murphy, Susan Emmell.

John was a retired Tool & Die Manager after 53 years having worked for Accro Cast Inc., and Yoder Industries. He loved to play golf, and was a people person. John lived for Dorothea and worked tirelessly for his family and his beloved pet dog Coco.

There will be a gathering of family and friends, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at NEWCOMER CREMATIONS, FUNERALS & RECEPTIONS, Dayton North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton starting at 9:30 am, followed by a celebration of John's life at 10:30 am with Pastor Andrew Brewster presiding. Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions in memory of John may be made to Dayton Children's Hospital.
