John R. Sullivan
Sullivan, John R., age 92, of Kettering, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011.
John was preceded in death by his wife: Mennie Sullivan in 2009. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Joyce (Gregory) Rife, Amanda (Tim) Hatfield; sons and daughters-in-law: Michael (Linda) Sullivan, Greg Sullivan, Joseph (Tammie) Sullivan; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother: William Sullivan; and numerous other family members and friends.
John was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran proudly serving during WWII, where he was a Bronze Star recipient. He retired from General Motors and NCR and was a member of NCR Country Club.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of John.
