John R. Allshouse

Allshouse, John R., age 60, of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008 at his home. He was born September 3, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Richard and Dorothy Allshouse. He served in the US Army during Vietnam and received a Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Air Medal, RVN Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a member of the VFW since 2004. Survivors include his fiancee, Josephine Kaminski; son, Eric Allshouse; step-sons, Stephen and David; step-daughter, Audrey. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and a dear friend, Jim Newton from Pittsburgh, PA; and many other family members and friends. Memorial services will be held at 6 PM Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, with Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. John's final resting place will be at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, PA with his father Richard.
