John Quincy Love, 67, of Dayton, passed away September 2, 2016. John was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 9, 1949 to the late Carl and Jean Love. John retired from Twin Valley Psychiatric Hospital. He was a member of VFW post #8437 for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, being a member of the "Sugarshackers" club and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Deanna; and brother in law Rick Gilbert.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rose Love; daughters, Amanda (Brad) Crabill, Gwen (Roy) Mayne, Heather (Tyler) Love; grandchildren, Caitlin Brackett, Jenna Mayne, Miley Crabill; sister, Nila Kaempf; nephew, Johnny Kaempf; great nephew, Kyle Kaempf; and many other relatives and special friends.
A graveside service will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 2pm at Dayton National Cemetery.
