John Harowski, Jr.
"Polock"
Age 60, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008, as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Polock was preceded in death by his father, John, Sr. and by one sister, Susan Harowski-Mertz.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Croghan) Harowski; his mother, Catherine Harowski; two sons, Todd (Terria) and Jeff Harowski; three step-children, John (Kelly) Delaberta, Melissa Worley and Allison (Joe) Simpkins; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Aidan, John, Kailey, Kyle, Joseph, Jeremy and Courtney; and by his sister, Angela Harowski & Mike Lewis.
He graduated from Kiser High School, class of '67 and retired from Harrison Radiator (GM). John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing and hunting with his buddies. He enjoyed life to the fullest and had no regrets.
The family will be receiving friends from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
