John Pohl, Sr.

POHL, John Paul, Sr., age 84, of Dayton, passed away Fri., July 8, 2005 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Rita in 1990, 11 brothers and sisters and his parents Steven & Mary Pohl. John is survived by his son John Paul Pohl, Jr. & his wife Tracie; 1 sister Mary Davis of CA; 2 granddaughters Jasmine and Cheyenne Pohl; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend Marie Gibbs. He retired from N.C.R. after 30 years of service, was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for 60 years, was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during W.W.II and a member of V.F.W. Post 2800. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M., Wed., July 13, 2005 at Immaculate Conception Church. Rev. Fr. Anthony Geraci Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 - 8 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Prayers 10:15 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be given to Hospice of Dayton in John's memory.
