John O. Winhoven
Age 75, of Dayton, passed away Monday, April 27, 2009, at Grandview Hospital.
John is survived by his loving wife of the past 46 years, Shirley M. Winhoven; son and daughter-in-law, James & Linda Winhoven of Kettering; grandchildren, James M. Winhoven, Jr and Sherry L. McDonald of Crossville, TN; two great granddaughters, Megan & Sierra; three great grandsons, Rodney, Chris & Jordyn; three sisters, Rita Boise, Barbara Bryant & Marjorie Winhoven; as well as several nieces & nephews.
John worked at Dayton Hardchrome Inc. for over 30 years and he was a supervisor at Chrome Parts Inc. for 15 years. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Navy. John was a devoted and loving husband, father & grandfather.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
