John Wesley Munsey, age 84, of Centerville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November, 28, 2016.
John was born November 2, 1932 in Blackwater, Virginia to Hagen & Mae Munsey.
He married the love of his life, Esther E. Eilertsen December 4th, 1954, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include children, Mark Munsey (Patrick), Kathy Wenk (Tom), Jeff Munsey (Lisa), Diane Jung (Thom); and grandchildren, Maura, Alex, Tommy, Madeline, Kyle, Tyson, Tyler, Christina; sisters, Vivian, Salona and Yvonne; and a host of other relatives.
John was a devout Christian who loved to serve his Lord. He was a loving husband, devoted father and delighted in his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10am at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest next to his wife at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
