John "J.D." Moore, age 63 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Centerville Health & Rehab. He was born October 12, 1956 in Dayton, to the late John and Genieve Moore.
J.D. was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from Rumpke Waste & Recycling after 12 years of employment. He was an OSU Buckeye fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and wrestling.
In addition to his parents, J.D. was preceded in death by his siblings, Muza "Jean" Venters, Steve Moore, Ashland Moore, Wonde Moore, Nannie Moore, Ira "Peno" Moore, Walter Moore, Cathleen Manns, Julia Cleary, Orla "Sonny" Gard, Robert Gard and James Moore.
John will be missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Beverly; children, John "JR" Moore, Clayton Moore, Josh (Deanita) Moore and Amanda (James) Caggiano; grandchildren, Kristin, Kayla, Kourtney, Emily, Joshua, Jr., Hunter, Paisleigh, Jesse, Dalton, Brenda, Neil and James, Jr.; siblings, Mike (Debbie) Gard, Darlene (Dave) Simonson, Janet Leasure and Eugene (Jackie) Gard; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special family friends, Hollie Marlow, Ann Berry and Sierra Henderson.
Family will receive friends Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
