John Thomas Miller

John Thomas Miller, age 78 of Washington Twp., passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. He was born October 3, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Sherman Gordon Miller and Loretta Miller.
John is a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He and his wife loved camping and fishing - his worst day fishing was better than the best day working! Most importantly, John loved spending time with his family.
John is survived by his daughters, Annette (Aaron) DeWitte, Lisa Miller; brother, Kevin (Brenda) Miller; grandchildren, Ryan (Leah), Ashley, Kaci, Patsy; great grandchildren, Branden, Ella, Jayden, and Jonah; and nephews, Keith (Chrissy), Aaron, and Brett.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Miller; and grandson, John Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). A Celebration of Life will begin at 4:00 pm, with military honors.
