John Michaels Jr.

MICHAELS John Joseph Jr. 71 of Dayton; passed away Tues. 3/30/04 after a short illness. He graduated from Newport Catholic High School. After graduation, John joined the U.S. Air Force, and served honorably during the Korean War. While in the Air Force he attended New Mexico Western College for OSI training. John was a car salesman for Simons Cadillac for 24 yrs. and for many years was a member of the Cadillac Crest Club; and has worked at Lewis RV for many years. He was also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. John was preceded in death by his parents, John & Hope Michaels, and his loving wife, Ruth M. (Janie) Michaels. John is survived by his son Robert (Butch) & his wife Tammy O'Brien; 2 grandsons, Thunder & Asa O'Brien; 1 sister, Madonna & Edward Wehner; numerous nieces, nephews, other family & friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved him. Services will be 2 pm Friday 4/2/04 at Dayton Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family will receive visitors from 1pm until time of services at the mausoleum. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association or The Disabled American Vets.
