John A. Meier, age 48 of West Carrollton, passed away December 21, 2014. He was born March 20, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN. John was preceded in death by his father, Gerhardt Meier; aunt, Paulette Persinger; grandparents: John and Ruth Persinger.
John is survived by his wife, Sharon Meier; mother, Diane Meier; aunt, Catherine Persinger; step-daughter, Jennifer Spurlock; step-grandchildren: Kyle Siegelin and Tyler and Skylar Spurlock; step-sisters: Kathy Hosch and Carolyn Nair; father and mother-in-law: Bill and Lorene Black; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
John was an employee at the Kroger on Alex-Bell Road and was a member of the UFCW.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Contributions may be made in John's memory to the American Cancer Society.
