MCCORMICK, John Thomas
76 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. John was born July 30, 1927, the son of Joseph David and Anna Mae McCormick. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a 50 year member of Local Lather/Carpenter Union # 104. John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara McCormick (nee Blevins); children, Dianna Hill, John (Robin) McCormick, Jr., Timothy (Rose) McCormick and Kathleen (Tim) Lewis; sister, Dorothy Redmon; brothers, Bill (Dee) McCormick and Rodger (Linda) McCormick; grandchildren, Brian, Sharon, Robert, Heather, Natalie, Brittany, Kelsey, Garrett, Jonathan and Andrew; great grandchildren, Courtney and Sean; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margaret Ham, Ruth Patterson and Catherine Wasyk; and brothers, Harry McCormick, Bob James, Ed McCormick and Bud McCormick. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday with interment following in David's Cemetery.
