John A. "Andy" Mayl, 40, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at his residence. Andy was born January 15, 1977 in Dayton, OH to John and Connie (Hunter) Mayl.
Andy loved sports, especially being involved in his son's sports activities. He loved to play cards, especially euchre and poker, loved watching the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cincinnati Reds. His smile could light up a room, and he was very outgoing, giving and caring and would do anything for his family or friends. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Andy is survived by his parents; a son Andrew Mayl; two sisters Julie (Greg) Mayl and Jacki (Eric) Dolan; his step father Bob Lane; nephews, Damion Taylor Lark, Max, Alec and Luke Dolan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 4:00-6:00 pm at the funeral home.
