John Mahan

MAHAN, John J., age 87, of Brookville, died Saturday, March 11, 2006. He was born January 25, 1919 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Frank and Florence Mahan. John served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Edith Mahan; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Norman and Linda Mahan, John and Lisa Mahan, Brent Mahan; 3 grandchildren, Nancy, Sean, and April; 2 great-grandchildren, Kelly and Emily; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Dakota. He was preceded in death by both parents, 1 sister and 1 brother. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. at United Christian Church (Hoke Rd., Clayton, Ohio).
