John Joseph Macario Jr., age 48 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his home. He was born April 16, 1972 in Ishpeming, Michigan the son of John Sr. and Dawn Macario.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Germany. After the service, he worked as a contractor. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed playing and watching golf. He especially enjoyed his food and being a food critic. He was a loving husband, father and Poppop who will be dearly missed.
John is survived by his wife, Nina; children, Jared (Emily) Macario, Heath (Allison) Houston & Tessa (Hailin) Zhu; father, John Sr. (Kathy) Macario; sister, Jodi (Chris) Skoglund; brother, Ryan (Netti) Macario; step-sister Kristy (Jim) Bell; step-brother, Nick DAmbrosio several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins; extended children, Russell (Julia) Taylor, Jacoby Taylor (Lindsey) Duebber, Austin Womack, Angel Landreth & Ryan Pettit; 5 grandchildren, Matthias, Mackenzie, Oliver, Alexandra & Xander; and beloved friends, Jason (Amy) Wilson & Joe Case.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Macario; and grandparents, Joseph (Aune) Macario & Jim (Betty) Hansen.
Visitation will be September 29, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A celebration of life will follow at 3 pm.
