John A. Luebke

John Luebke 70 of Kettering passed away Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 29, 1950 in Sidney, the son of Edward and Thelma(Barhorst) Luebke.

John was a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. He loved his family above all else. Family was central to his life. He also loved watching sports particularly Ohio State, Bengals and Reds… even with their lack of wins.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kathy.
He is survived by his children Eric (Christina) Luebke, Taylor (Tiphanie) Luebke and Kristen (Andy) Gaugh. Also, his siblings Carol (Harry) Coy and Jim Luebke. His Grandchildren: Owen, Brandon, Chase, Lily, Ellie and Brooks. Nieces and Nephews: Jason (Audrey) Coy, Megan (Matt) Endersby, Zach Coy. Great Nieces and Nephews: Ellie, Abby, Brooke, Will.

A gathering will be held from 10-11 AM on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH, 45459) where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM. Condolences may be made to the family at www.newcomerdayton.com.
Special thanks to Dr. Jeannine Sheppard and the staff at Eastway, to Ernestine and Life Bridges, to the staff at Walnut Creek, and to the family members involved in John's care. They helped John to live his fullest life. Additional thanks to the many hospital personnel throughout John's life and to Hospice of Dayton at John's passing. All these folks were instrumental in John's journey.

He will be missed by many different circles of Friends and Family.
